The web zine Substancezine.com has published Mark R. Mitchel's article "Comics and Sublime Experience". Among the authors whose work was analyzed are Jim Woodring, Art Spiegelman, Joe Sacco and Aleksandar Zograf.

I participated to a jam comics session, at Raja restaurant in Berkeley, CA, March 2002. The event was organized by Comic Relief, and present were fine cartoonists such as Eric Drooker, Chris Lanier, Fly, and quite many others. The results could be viewed at:
